KVU Prepares for the Road Ahead03/29/2013 Exciting plans still ahead for the KVU in 2013. A big show in Elizabethtown in September, followed by competing at the Cardinal convention in October for the privilege of competing again on the BHS international stage in 2014! Las Vegas, here we come!!! We're still looking for new members. So if you or any male singer you know would like to join, don't hesitate to drop by a rehearsal any time. Be sure to check the website for rehearsal schedule details, as these are dynamic and changing with the lead-up to Fall Season performances. KVU Making the News!07/31/2012 Kentucky Vocal Union is making the news! (1) A few weeks ago the Elizabethtown, Ky newspaper wrote a great article about us. (2) Last Sunday the Louisville Courier-Journal wrote a short piece about our director, Aaron Dale. (3) And this morning the KVU appeared live on WHAS-11 TV!  Many thanks to all who have supported the KVU in our journey west to Seattle and Portland. We were proud to represent the Cardinal District! On July 6th we placed 3rd in the world - such an awesome feeling for us, and we were honored to be ranked so high amidst so many great groups! Our third place finish was icing on the cake after a thrilling week of performance. "Go For The Gold" - June 21 7:45 p.m.06/18/2012 The KVU will hold its "Go For The Gold" dress rehearsal this coming Thursday, June 21. At 7:45 we will perform a short set of some of our favorite repertoire songs, culminating with this year's contest set. Afterwards, you are welcome to stick around as we have our last rehearsal before heading to perform in Seattle and the Portland International. Hope to see you there!
