The KVU has launched a fundraising project to help fund its trip to the BHS international chorus contest next summer in Portland, Oregon. The page, which can be found on Kickstarter.com, offers the unique opportunity to support the chorus and, in exchange, be rewarded with a ton of incentives. When is the next KVU show? We're proud to present our annual Prelude to the Holidays show, Friday December 2nd at The Clifton Center in Louisville. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and children. All seating is general admission. Contact any member of the KVU for tickets, or contact us on this site for more information. Click HERE to see the full Facebook announcement. 2010 Prelude to the Holidays - KVU, OC Times, and The Reen Family SingersThe Kentucky Vocal Union once again won the Cardinal District Chorus contest on October 1, 2011 with a score of 87.7 They will represent the Cardinal District at the International Competition in Portland, Oregon July 2012. The KVU finished their 2011 international contest set to an overwhelming standing ovation on Saturday, July 9th, in Kansas City, Mo., finishing just 2 points (out of a possible 3000) short of a fifth-place medal. | About the KVUThe Kentucky Vocal Union is a male a cappella ensemble based in Louisville with membership from all over Kentucky and surrounding states.
